World number one Jelena Jankovic beat Flavia Penneta 7-6, 6-3 to enter the semi finals of the Kremlin Cup being held in Moscow. Jankovic won a tough tie breaker in the first set and fought back from being three one down in the second to book her place in the final four. She will now Elena Dementieva who beat Nadia Petrova 6-4 , 4-6, 7-6 in her quarter final tie
